Group R & D is headed up by Mr. Mike Chow. our Group CTO. Mr. Chow received his Master Degree from MIT, he is an veteran programmer of 3DFX, Sony, Rainbow Studios and Electronic Arts. Originally a native of China but raised in the US. Mike is a native speaker in English and Mandarin. To support our art and R & D team in creation of next-gen console titles and on-line games we have created our internal real-time TQViewer, which supports exports from Max and Maya. The viewer supports shader development and viewing of the assets with self shadowing, HDR environment mapping and complex techniques such as sub-surface scattering for realistic human skin. The viewer also supports multiple LODs and material editing. Often we innovate techniques for our clients or emulate functionality they are planning for their own engine but perhaps don't have available for testing during asset production.
